Do you want to take it easy and travel in style from Arlanda Airport or Stockholm Central Station? Then the Fuzz Bus™ may be just what you're looking for!

The bus will depart once on the early arrival day, and once on the arrival day. Likewise it will depart once on both the last convention day, and once on the late departure day.

The bus will take you directly from the pickup points to the front door of the hotel. No need to find alternative routes or try to navigate through any scary Swedish road obstacles on the way, our driver does that for you! You will not have to carry your heavy luggage from the train station nor change trains/buses/boats/pogo sticks/whatever, but simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride with your fellow furs.

The price for a single fare (in either direction) is 125 SEK. This is the same price as from the Airport to the hotel with the Commuter Train. The difference is the company and style in which you travel.

By Bus

Various companies such as Swebus and bus4you offer long-distance bus services to Stockholm from different cities in Sweden as well as from other cities in Europe. The main bus terminal right next to Stockholm Central Station (see By Train above).

Commuter traffic bot: www.resrobot.se (use the little Union Jack or German flag icon on the right to change the language). Target station is Nynäs gård, Nynäshamn. Target address is Utsiktsvägen 10.

By Train

Stockholm - as the major city in Sweden - offers rail connections all over the country. There are also several trains running direct connections from Copenhagen and Oslo every day.

From Stockholm Central Station, take the commuter train going towards Nynäshamn / Västerhaninge (J35). Only about half of the departures go all the way to Nynäshamn, the rest just goes half way to Västerhaninge. But this is usually displayed on the signs on the trains and on the platform. Get off the train at Nynäsgård station and follow instructions for By Foot below. If you miss your train stop, it doubles back and you can either opt to follow the walking instructions in By Boat below, or calmly wait till the train returns and get off at the next stop after leaving Nynäshamn station, which is again Nynäsgård station.

Long distance trains: sj.se
Commuter trains: sl.se - also metro and buses - look for SL Center or Pressbyrån for tickets.

By Foot from the Train Station

Go against the direction the train arrived in, towards the bridge and past the bicycle stand. Follow the road towards the gas station. There is a grill directly by it in case of severe starvation. Walk along the road, pass the roundabout and towards the ELON store. That is an electronics store where you might be able to find adapters and phone charges. Continue along the road you will have a Pizzeria and an Indian restaurant on the right side of the road, and a Thai place on your left. Walk left around the Thai place onto Vårfruvägen and continue straight, past the red shield saying "Frälsningsarmén" (Liberation Army). Continue up the hill and past the bush on your left, there is a sign pointing to "Utsiken Hotell och Konferens" pointing towards "Utsiktsvägen". If you are starting to walk downhill you have missed it. Take a right at the top of the hill, uphill. The long green roof in the distance is the hotel. The walk takes about 8 minutes.

Please see the following video of the walk from the train station to the hotel.

By Plane

Stockholm is mainly served by three airports: Stockholm Arlanda [ARN] (the main international airport north of the city), Stockholm Bromma [BMA] (closer to the center and mainly serving destinations in Scandinavia) and Stockholm Skavsta [NYO] (low cost carrier - think Ryanair). Momondo lists airplane connections to Sweden.

From Arlanda there are SL commuter trains (see above) to Stockholm Central Station (Stockholm C). Note that you will need to switch trains to get to Nynäshamn, but it's possible and recommended to buy a single ticket at the airport for the whole journey. Ask for directions for and tickets to Nynäshamn at the Arlanda Central desk in SkyCity between terminals 4 and 5. Conveniently, the train from Arlanda to Stockholm C usually stops at the same platform as the train from Stockholm C towards Nynäshamn. Arlanda is also served by both Arlanda Express trains and airport buses to Stockholm C.

Bromma is served by SL buses (see above) and airport buses to Stockholm C. For SL tickets, look for Pressbyrån shops with the SL sign, these need to be bought before boarding the bus. Consider buying a ticket for the whole journey to Nynäshamn.

Skavsta is served by the airport buses.

By Boat

Being a city close to the Baltic sea you can also come by boat. Stockholm offers ferry connections to Helsinki, Mariehamn, Turku, Tallin, Riga and St. Petersburg. From the different ferry terminals take public transportation to the main station (Centralen) and then follow instructions as per "by train" above. There are also ferries from Ventspils and Gdansk that takes you directly to Nynäshamn.

There is a 2.0 km walk, upphill, from the port to the Hotel (see above), so, a taxi might be a nice but costly idea.

By ferry from Gdansk, Ventspila or having taken the train all the way to Nynäshamn station Getting out from the terminal.

Now you are in for a 2 km trek. Follow the dock with the water on your right till you can turn left onto Vikingavägen. This is right before the harbour bulges outwards for a container loading area. Vikingavägen is the only major road that goes directly down to the docks. Make sure you are on the right one, because you will follow this to the end. Follow Vikingavägen until it merges into Centralgatan, this is almost a km. When merging with Centralgatan, take right onto it till you come upon Vårfruvägen on your right. There is a Sturevägen on your right before Vårfruvägen but if you come upon a gas station and then a roundabout, you have gone too far. Follow Vårfruvägen for 350 m. You will pass the larger Nynäsvägen and Vaktbergsvägen as you get into a stretch with flats on your left and villas on your right. There will be a small sign saying "Utsikten" pointing to your right, but it is behind a bush so you will only see it when you reach Utsiktsvägen leading up to your right. Follow that one all the way to the Hotel.

By Car

From Arlanda Airport or from the north, take E4 south towards Stockholm.

Exit on to Route 73 south towards Nynäshamn. Follow it down to Nynäshamn.

From the south, drive to Södertälje then take the turnpike just after Södertälje to the right. Towards Nynsähamn. Road 225. Follow that road till it merges with road 73.

Getting close to Nynäshamn. When you pass a larger turnpike get ready. You are about to turn right onto industrivägen. In the crossing the left turn leads to a lot of refineries. Immediately turn right onto Telegrafgatan. There will be an exit to the left almost immediately, do not take that one. Follow Telegrafgatan till you can turn left onto Vårfruvägen. It is the obvious exit on the left. Follow it till you see a tiny sign up towards Utsiktsvägen. Follow it to the hotel, parking will be on your left, but you can drive up to the entrance and drop things off first.

By Taxi

Please note that taxi prices in Sweden are unregulated, so to avoid nasty surprises make sure you know the approximate price of the journey before getting into the car. Taxis are required to post their rates for a 15 minute journey clearly, so look for the yellow signs in the car's rear side window. The rate from Stockholm Central station should be about 800 SEK. And from the airport 1345 SEK. If there's a queue of taxis waiting for customers you do not have to take the first car in line, you can look for a cheaper one. Visit Stockholm has more information. (Prices for taxi from port and train station to be researched.)
