NordicFuzzCon
Conventions don't run themselves! They rely on the dedication and hard work from people such as yourself. Do you think you have what it takes to join the NordicFuzzCon team? Do you want to help as a proud member of the STEW* and make NordicFuzzCon 2019 the best convention yet? Below you will find a list of open positions that we are currently looking to fill.
* STEW is the internal name of everyone working for NordicFuzzCon and it stands for STaff and crEW. Besides STEW we also have our volunteers which are called SOUP (read more about volunteering at the bottom of this page).
2 positions are available.
The charity team is looking for two new super awesome members!
Charity Liaison: Must be presentable, have good manners, be service-minded and speak Swedish. Contacts the selected charity before the con, shows them around and such.
Event manager: Good at organising things and pull many elements together. Ideally have stage personality (will only be used to a limited degree) and having a network inside or outside the NFC organisation is a bonus :)

1-2 positions are available
The GoH team is looking for some new cool people. You need to speak English, be good mannered and hard working.

5 positions are available
We need 3 designers and 2 print assistants.
Designers need to have a basic understanding of indesign, possibly some experience in office, google drive and open office.
Print technicians need no prior experience.
There will be work both before and during the convention. :)

1 position is available.
We are looking for somebody interested in taking care of Sponsor goodies. From brainstorming ideas for gifts with other STEW members to making sure that they are ordered and delivered in time.

If you are interested in entertaining and making a fabulous show with a crazy bunch of crazy fuzzies then you are someone we want! ^^
Work tasks ranges from making art, script writing and making stage props to attending meetings, planning and rehearsals. Poke us and we can talk about where you will fit the best :)

We need two smiling and eager members for the front desk at ConOps. =D
Work tasks ranges from checkin/checkout of the walkietalkies for the STEW to helping attendees with issues that might come up.

NFC is growing fast, and there is always need for more SOUP to go around with the STEW. But what exactly is the SOUP you ask?
SOUP is short for “Some Other Useful Personnel”: The name is to better reflect the word STEW and hopefully bring a laugh or two to possible future candidates that we find at the convention. However, joining as SOUP does not mean that you advance to become a STEW member right away. It is still a volunteer position.
But it will allow you to see how it is to be a STEW member for a short time. You may help both one or several departments.
It is a lot of fun. And you get to meet lots of new people!
Not only do you get a small sneak peek at what it's like to be a member of STEW, but you do also get to meet the STEW. And if you after the convention feel like this is something you would like to spend more time doing, you are more than welcome to ask the department you were working in, or you can contact Lumo at [email protected].
And for helping out as SOUP you will get a special lanyard and a cool pin! Unique to the SOUP.
Surely it sounds amazing? It is! SOUP is a lot of fun. And you might gain both new friends and new experiences.
