Changes for NordicFuzzCon 2020

NordicFuzzCon 2020 brings with it a lot of new changes and improvements for the convention as we move to a new location and work further to improve the convention; a shortlist of the bigger updates for NordicFuzzCon 2020 in Malmö are listed below.

• MANY HOTELS: NordicFuzzCon now has 6 hotels quite close to each other: Clarion Hotel Malmö Live, Best Western, Astoria, Elite Esplanade, Elite Savoy and Elite Residens. The Elite hotels will be sold as one hotel in the registration system.
• PARTIAL PAYMENTS: The system has been removed. Click here to see what payment options are available. You need to pay within 14 days of your booking being approved.
• ROOM TYPE: The same hotel room must now be booked for the entire duration of the stay.
• PARTY OPTIONS: The party wing has been replaced, since the new convention hotel doesn't have an area suitable for hosting this. See the Party Boat and Party Area pages for more information.
• BADGE CHECKS will be much more enforced in the evenings. The reason is that we are a city hotel (3 minute walking distance from the central station) and we wish to keep a fun happy atmosphere for all attendees while preventing non-attendees from entering the convention area.
• SUPER SPONSOR GIFTS: Based on feedback from previous NordicFuzzCons, it's been decided to remove tiered gifts from the super-sponsors (they still get something extra)
• GET TRENDY: There will be more cool merchandise that is available for everyone to purchase.
• SECRET SPONSOR: We added the possibility to anonymously sponsor the convention without any of the super-sponsor benefits according to feedback wishes.
• HUNGRY OR THIRSTY? The Skybar will be open for everyone for lunch and dinner. The same goes for dinner in the Taqueria. We will get to pre-reserve the tables in the Skybar. More information will be available once you have signed up.
• POLICIES: Like every year, our policies have been updated.
